Residential Programs

Our New Life Community Men’s Self-Directed Residential Recovery Program is designed for those dealing with chronic alcohol or drug use and who desire assistance in transitioning to a new path in life without substance dependencies.

Our home-style facility provides a safe, clean and balanced environment that is a medically-safe self-directed relapse prevention program. Our trained and compassionate staff focus on motivating and empowering those within our program to utilize their own strengths to combat substance dependencies and build personal strategies to achieve life-affirming goals… moving forward in a new substance-free lifestyle.

We believe a solid foundation in the transitional, action, and maintenance phases of a change while abstaining from these psychoactive substances is critical. We believe in empowering the resident with new choices, support systems, and services offered throughout our community.

Our program provides self-directed supportive recovery and accountability for up to two years, contingent upon client needs and counselor’s assessments. For those requiring financial assistance, the Ministry of Social Development and Housing provides per diem funding, if eligible. Self-financed participation is also an option.

The Men’s Recovery Program offers 17 bedrooms and is located upstairs at the New Life Community Outreach Centre. If you know of someone who is in need of substance addiction assistance and desires support in starting a path of transition, please contact our centre today or download our Recovery Referral document to fill out (with a doctor or addictions counselor) and submit by fax to 250-434-1373.
